The CB4.5 was designed and released by our company in 1985.

It was the FIRST 4.5 dB high gain mobile colinear produced suitable for bull bar or bumper mounting.

This antenna was a progression from our popular model CB6, it also utilizes the coaxial cable technology which we developed to enable this antenna to retain the specifications of a 4.5 dB base station but with a considerable reduction in overall length resulting in an ideal mobile.

This antenna is popular because it is of compact length but also long on features, it provides 4.5 dB gain, ground independent, factory tuned and is terminated with a UHF socket, the gold powder coated mounting pole combined with the marine grade fibreglass radome in either black or white is aesthetically pleasing.

The materials used are all commercial grade, the cable and connector being of Mil specifications, internally the antenna is braced for added strength.

For mobile use, mount with our model SA gold powder coated
spring.

The original CB4.5 has been copied but never equaled.
